Magnum Filter Cartridges are made with high quality spun polyester and the most up-to-date manufacturing machinery and processes to ensure that you receive the highest quality filter cartridges on the market for your spa pool and swimming pool.

All cartridge filters should be cleaned at least every 2 months to ensure that they don't clog up.  Filter clogging is caused by soaps, chemicals, perspiration, body fats, oils and fine particles of dust or dirt.  Even if cartridges are well maintained they still need to be replaced at least every 2 years as even if they look fine they are not filtering well and cause stress on your pump.

 Here are a few things you can do to maximise the life of your filter:

• Maintain the pool water chemistry in proper balance.
• Clean the cartridge in accordance with its cleaning instructions. (we recommend a chemical cartridge cleaner to dissolve fat build up)
• Do not scrub the filter with a stiff brush.
• Do not use a high pressure hose, 
• Rotate two cartridges to prolong the life of the filters considerably.
